Reiki Drum

The Reiki Drum Technique uses a drum to introduce Reiki energy into a person’s energy field and physical body.  The drum vibrations work to clear and dislodge deeply held or stuck energies and/or emotions. After drumming, the practitioner works intuitively and puts their hands in various positions on or off the body. This session takes between 30/60 mins.

Reiki Drum Journeying

The drum is used to support the client to enter a meditative state from where they can journey to meet their power animal, guiding spirit and/or gain some insights and clarity about a specific life issue.  Journeying can also be done in small groups. Sessions of 30/60 mins

Reiki 5 Elements

A foundation treatment to energetically balance the body’s elements (wood, fire, earth, spirit and air) and their associated meridians. The treatment also supports a person’s mental, emotional and spiritual well being.  Sessions of 60/90 mins

Reiki (said Ray-Key) uses universal energy (also understood as divine light/love) to balance the body, mind and spirit. It originated in Japan in the early 20th century and was developed by a man called Mikao Usui Sensei.

What happens in a Reiki treatment?

You sit on a chair or lie down and the practitioner puts their hands in different places on or just above the body for a few minutes while the energy works. It is a safe and gentle way of treating a person. A person remains clothed throughout the treatment. During a treatment the client may feel deeply relaxed, heat from the practitioner's hand, tingling or notice nothing at all. Reiki restores the client to an energetic balance and promotes a sense of health and well being. Sometimes Reiki may bring emotions to the surface or create physical symptoms as your body clears and restores itself to balance. Although this is sometimes uncomfortable it is a natural process.

A Standard Treatment

A series of standard hand positions are used to treat the client on or just off the body. The client will be asked to turn over to treat both their front and back. Sessions of 40/90 mins.
